We had to find a flight that could leave after our reception in Eagle at 9pm on the 16th and arrive in Florida by 2pm on the 17th. Given the 2 hour time difference working against us this turned out to be no small feat. It turns out that there wasn’t a single flight leaving from the Boise airport that would get us there in time and the only flight we could find left from the Salt Lake City airport at 5:30 am the morning after the reception. This meant that immediately after the reception ended in Eagle, we had to jump into the car, pack as many gifts as possible, and high tail it down to SLC in time to catch the flight.
After a crazy day of travel we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at 1:28pm, in time to catch a taxi to the boat. Though it may seem obvious to the seasoned traveler, people trying to help you flag a taxi, or carry luggage aren’t doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, they’re looking for a tip. Ohhh well.
The ship took a seven day course through the Eastern Caribbean with ports of call in the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands. What can I say? It was paradise. The beaches were unreal, the islands were beautiful, the food was never-ending, and the company wasn’t so bad either ;)
The ship was even equipped with an outdoor movie theater to watch movies under the Caribbean stars! Check out some of the highlights:

Looks like a blast. I still think you guys should have come to Philly for your honeymoon though… you and the boys would have loved it! Then Jeff and I could have just taken the ‘ok’ trip to the Caribbean for you. Love you guys!
