Well…
When I set out it looked overcast.
When I got half a mile in, it started to drizzle.
When I got a mile in, Provo Canyon looked like midnight.
When I got a mile and a half in, I was getting pelted by stinging hail and torrential downpours of rain.
When I got two miles in, Kristie was waiting under an overpass along the trail insisting I stop right away.
It was a good call…the run would have been miserable in heavy, wet shoes and chafing clothes…but it was tough because I was mentally prepared for it. It cleared up later (naturally), but by then I didn’t have enough time to finish it. Aggh. Now I’ve gotta figure out when I can do it next…time is winding down till Oct. 4th!

Hey….sounds like an answer to a pray! (Please God, just let it hail….just this once….I’ll be good…I promise!)
