Friday night we went out with Houston, Amanda, Leah and her date (Houston’s bro) to The Mayan in SLC. The place was enormous…complete with live cliff divers as part of the restaurant’s “Mayan adventure” theme.
On Saturday we got to witness the Cougars shut out the Cowboys 44-0 at Lavell Edwards Stadium. It was beautiful. It was also the first time we sat in our actual seats, since we had sideline passes for the first two home games. Our seats are located on the west side, pretty far up…but they give you a terrific view of the field. Another benefit is that, due to the press box, we’re the first to get shade from the sun during the sweltering afternoon games.
Saturday night we went out with Grant and his date, who turned out to be Tracy, the younger sister of my longtime friend, Jody Farnsworth. Small world.
Sunday we cooked an amazing pork roast for 8 hours and ate like kings (thanks AJ). And to top off the evening we dropped by Harry and Sarah’s pizza night for a couple slices (who could resist?) and Dan in Real Life.
can’t wait to see you guys this weekend! friday can’t come soon enough!
