Eagle Girls Lunch

Kami, Leah and Kristie got together for a girls lunch to catch up and talk about babies, I presume.

I think this picture is hilarious

Jesperson BBQ

Leah and Jonny had us over for a swim and a BBQ. Great company, great food…and we got to debut Lilah’s hippo-eared bathing suit. Awesome.

Hiller Family Reunion ’10

Can’t believe this is our third one already! This year we got to take a cool 4 generation picture with Great Grandma Hiller, Grandma Haworth, Kristie and Lilah:

Nana, meet Lilah

Mom McConnon flew into SLC on Sunday and stayed the night with Mary and Ryan Englund. On Monday we drove down from Boise to meet up with her and head back home. Now anyone that knows Rita knows that she’s a little unbalanced when it comes to loving her kids. It became apparent really early that she’d share this same enthusiasm for her first grandbaby. As we approached SLC we laughed at the barrage of impatient text messages that kept my phone buzzing…right up till the moment we arrived at Mary’s. After we parked, she came rushing down to meet us, and got to hold Lilah for the first time. It was awesome to behold, and she’ll probably kill me for putting up a video of it.

Here are a couple more shots:

Tanner Family Reunion

This week we got to take a trip up to Boise for a Tanner Family Reunion. We left on a Wednesday and stayed through Monday (since the 4th fell on Sunday, and we got that day off at work). It was a blast…I’ll let some of the pictures do the talking:

Thursday: I had to catch up on some work during the day, so I missed out on a trip to Uncle Steve’s pool. It looked like everyone had a blast, though.

Friday: Among other things, we got to go iceblocking at Simplot Hill, and Lilah got her first bath.

...and sliding down

Kristie, soaking up some sun

She handled it pretty well, until we washed her hair ;)

I can't remember if this was a protest or yawn.

Saturday: Some fun yard work as a fam, and then the big kids got to go out to dinner.

Projectile spit-ups -- this one was epic. #newdad
