Silly Lilah

Here are some more fun videos of Lilah being Lilah for the Grandparents out there.

Lilah loves shoes right now and will try to put them on no matter whose they are… She keeps saying “that” in the video which is what she says all the time now when she wants something. She’ll point to something and say “that….that…” or she’ll hand it to you and say “that” if she wants your help with it. I think it’s so cute…

This is a video of Lilah at Blickenstaff’s Toy Store. We are in love with this place! Now if I only had a million dollars then I might buy something from there… lol Lilah especially loves the stuffed animals in the store and decided to give out lots of kisses with a suggestion from her Dad.

Lilah has her own little sense of humor and personality and loves to get attention and make people laugh. When she was really excited about something she use to tense up so much that her whole little body would shake… Well she saw that it got her a lot of attention and now she does it just to make people laugh… especially me cause I think it’s hilarious. In the video you can’t see, very well, that she is actually shaking but you can hear her when she stops holding her breath. She usually has that funny little smirk on her face while she’s doing it, then she shakes her whole face really fast… lol She is quite the little entertainer!

We are loving our grassy-hill seats at the Orem Owlz games. This was a fun, family night activity for all.

Tanner Reunion Day 1

After the Tanner Family 5oth celebration our immediate Tanner family headed back to Provo for our reunion! Friday night was spent getting settled and talking.

Saturday morning we got everyone out of the house by 8:50am to hike the Y! We thought it was pretty awesome with all those kids! We were grateful that we started early and missed some of the intense heat.

Lilah did really well in the mobe wrap which surprised me… As long as she was moving she was happy.

Angela, Emily and Cole

All of us at the top of the Y.

Hanging out at the top. I love that Jacob has dirt all over his face in this one…. lol

After we hiked down tot he base Angela and I ran back to our house, which was probably a bad idea cause it was super hot by that point! But it was really fun to get to run together. We don’t get the chance very often and love to when we can.

This year Tom’s company Qualtrics was a sponsor for Stadium of Fire and we received 4 tickets! Mom and Dad decided that they would take the kids to watch the firework show up by the temple while Tom and I took Angela and Jeff to the show! We got a babysitter for Emily and Lilah which worked out great for everyone. The 2 babies were asleep before the fireworks even started. Us four went to a company party before and mingled with everyone before heading over to the stadium.

The boys happily holding our purses while Ang and I went to the bathroom.

We had no idea that we’d be so spoiled! Our seats were amazing, and we had free food and water. Tom and I were even just happy to be out on a date!

The show was awesome, and I have to say that I heart Brad Paisley! It was my first time seeing a country artist with Tom and will probably be my last… lol He is not a fan.

Luckily because of some careful, parking-planning, we were able to make it home pretty quick. We actually beat Grandma and Grandpa home, but when they got there this is what we found in the back seat! We all had quite a long day I guess… lol

Take that, mom.

Marriott Center Introduction

BYU kicked off its season today with a win over Fresno State. The $1 family tickets sold the place out – it gets rockin’ when the venue is packed with 23,000 screaming fans.

Lilah did pretty great with all the noise. Here she is celebrating…like a true blue, born-in-the-covenant Cougar fan.

Lilah’s First BYU Game

We beat the Wyoming Cowboys with a thrilling defensive stand with only 16 seconds on the clock. Many thanks to Ry for the tix.

Lilah: May all your Cougar games result in W’s.

BobKat Birthday Bash

A bunch of us got together to celebrate Bobby and Kathryn’s birthday’s at Texas Roadhouse tonight. It was good to see everyone, and great to witness B&K riding a saddle to earn their b-day dessert. Love you guys.

Latest addition to Real Nation

Today Justin got us tickets to the Real Salt Lake soccer match where we met up with Jer, Ked and their cute little girl, Rebecca. This was Lilah’s first game, and both of the little girls were sporting their adorable little RSL jerseys.

Real won–the defending cup champions have had an awesome season so far–so that was a nice ending.

After the match we headed over to the Foote’s, where we joined a few more friends for a great home-cooked meal (compliments to Kedra!)

Also – a shout out to my brother Coleman…It’s his 19th Birthday today. Love ya, buddy.

Owlz Games

Back when we attended the Orem Summerfest, I got a free ticket to an Orem Owlz minor-league baseball game. So last Thursday we decided to catch a game. Upon arriving at the ticket office, however, one of Kristie’s old friends was just walking out to give away a pair of extra tickets that he didn’t need. So we got in totally free, and had so much fun that we decided to go again with Ryan and Mandy tonight. Here are a few pictures from both games:

Bauer Hour

Almost every Monday night since January, Kristie and I have gone to Leah and Johnny’s for dinner and an episode of 24. We take turns preparing meals, which has been a lot of fun…learning and trying stuff we probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Since the series is ending (and since we haven’t taken a single picture this entire time), I wanted to capture something from it. Here’s a shot of Kristie and Leah:

Goodbye Jack…primetime TV won’t be the same without you.
