Kim Ray Bachelorette Party

My good friend Kim Ray is getting married this month! Her sister Melissa threw her a fun little bachelorette party. There were were 6 of us girls there from Eagle High including Kim. We had a great time catching up and celebrating with Kim.

We actually squeezed quite a few people into that apartment! It was a party!

St. Patrick’s Day Party

My cute friend Nicki planned a St. Patrick’s Day party for a bunch of the little kids in our neighborhood. She did a great job making it a fun time for all!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Thanks to Andrew and Rebecca for having us over for this year’s Christmas party. Love the tasty party favor:

Halloween Dinner

Kristie's soup, cooked in the pumpkin...shout-out to Jody Farnsworth for the awesome recipe

We had originally planned on throwing a Halloween party with the old gang–but when schedules and illness forced a few key individuals to drop out, we decided to make it easy and host a fun little dinner instead. The food and company were terrific, as always. Jer and Ked represented by dressing up in costume, big ups to them.

Here’s a shot of Naomi, Lilah and Rebecca:

BobKat Birthday Bash

A bunch of us got together to celebrate Bobby and Kathryn’s birthday’s at Texas Roadhouse tonight. It was good to see everyone, and great to witness B&K riding a saddle to earn their b-day dessert. Love you guys.

Another VanWagenen Reception

We wanted to hike Mt. Timp today with some friends, but the threat of rain scuttled our plans. I was a sad panda.

But on the bright side, it freed us up to hang out with Leah and Jonny and help them set up a reception for Leah’s younger brother Kurt and his wife. The event was beautifully planned and the weather cooperated nicely. It was fun to catch up with some family (family–assuming Kristie’s an adopted VanWagenen, like I keep hearing) and friends that we hadn’t seen in a while.

Dani’s Reception

Tonight we attended the wedding reception of our friend Dani (who Kristie cheered with at BYU). It was a beautiful affair, and we got to catch up with a bunch of the old gang, including David Grant, Eric & Tracy Snowder, Dimitri, Katie, Mckell, Matt, Josh and Ashylnn. I think I’d like to buy the home they held the reception at someday.

Owlz Games

Back when we attended the Orem Summerfest, I got a free ticket to an Orem Owlz minor-league baseball game. So last Thursday we decided to catch a game. Upon arriving at the ticket office, however, one of Kristie’s old friends was just walking out to give away a pair of extra tickets that he didn’t need. So we got in totally free, and had so much fun that we decided to go again with Ryan and Mandy tonight. Here are a few pictures from both games:

Eagle Girls Lunch

Kami, Leah and Kristie got together for a girls lunch to catch up and talk about babies, I presume.

I think this picture is hilarious

Jesperson BBQ

Leah and Jonny had us over for a swim and a BBQ. Great company, great food…and we got to debut Lilah’s hippo-eared bathing suit. Awesome.
