Silly Lilah

Here are some more fun videos of Lilah being Lilah for the Grandparents out there.

Lilah loves shoes right now and will try to put them on no matter whose they are… She keeps saying “that” in the video which is what she says all the time now when she wants something. She’ll point to something and say “that….that…” or she’ll hand it to you and say “that” if she wants your help with it. I think it’s so cute…

This is a video of Lilah at Blickenstaff’s Toy Store. We are in love with this place! Now if I only had a million dollars then I might buy something from there… lol Lilah especially loves the stuffed animals in the store and decided to give out lots of kisses with a suggestion from her Dad.

Lilah has her own little sense of humor and personality and loves to get attention and make people laugh. When she was really excited about something she use to tense up so much that her whole little body would shake… Well she saw that it got her a lot of attention and now she does it just to make people laugh… especially me cause I think it’s hilarious. In the video you can’t see, very well, that she is actually shaking but you can hear her when she stops holding her breath. She usually has that funny little smirk on her face while she’s doing it, then she shakes her whole face really fast… lol She is quite the little entertainer!

Random May

Lilah & Tom just hanging out.

Lilah absolutely loves this Dog at the Library.

Again, I couldn’t understand why she was in such a bad mood for this short car trip…. until I went back to get her. I guess I’m a little mean for making her stay that way until I got a picture. lol

Lilah at Costco. Tom let her play with this bear while he walked around. She loves big stuffed animals.

More reading time.

We went to Trafalga on Memorial Day with our pass of all passes, and I got to climb the rock wall. We have already gotten more than our money’s worth with these passes and the summer just started! I love having so many free options for date nights and family outings.

Bieber Fever

Make fun of him all you want…but you can’t deny his influence over girls of any age. Apparently even my 11 month old is susceptible. Here’s her take on “Baby

Head-Bands

Today while I was running errands Lilah seemed a little upset. I didn’t think much of it because she usually hates being in her car-seat. But today when I went back to get her, this is what I found. . . lol

Guest Room Mattress

When you tie a mattress and box springs to your roof and need to run the rope through open windows (cause you don’t have a roof rack), the rest of your evening’s errands can become pretty tiresome. Kristie, at 9 months pregnant, made this window-entry maneuver look much more graceful than I could. She was laughing at me when she took this:

Idaho Visit

We had a chance to drive on up to Boise this weekend to spend a couple quick days with the fam. On Saturday the boys watched BYU crush Air Force while the girls went shopping.

Wanna see what it looks like when you blow air though pressed lips and take a picture? I knew you did:

If there was any question that we’re weird, I think this officially resolves it. Credit Lacey with the brilliant idea.

Hillarious “mormon mommy blogspot” parody

Perhaps I’m the last one to come across this site, but in case i’m not, I just had to share.

Before I direct you to the blog, let me give you a little taste (to help put it in context). Here is the “about me” section:

“Hi everybody!!! My name is Tiffany/Amber/Megan/Nicole and I am married to Jordan/Jason/Wes/Taylor, and we have non-stop fun all the time and are LOVING married life! We are super busy but we still love to make time for fun stuff and we just love being married and living our awesome lives. I LOVE crafts (especially Stampin’ Up! and homemade jewelry) and he loves sports. I went to hair school/teach 2nd grade and now we are going to law/dental/business/medical school! So hard! But being in law/dental/business/medical school is really fun for me because there are tons of wive’s clubs like bridge club, book club, walking club. Pretty awesome! Love you guys!! If you have anything you want me to blog about, puh-LEASE let me know!”

And an illustration of the aforementioned family:

The stereotypes hit so close to home, and they are just too funny. I figure its healthy to laugh at ourselves every once and a while, right? Without further ado:

Laws Of Motion

img_6661-edit2.jpg

So today I woke up really wanting to longboard down Provo canyon. I’d been thinking about it ever since I watched people ride it while I was was stuck running it. So after Kristie agreed to drop me off at the trail head, I grabbed my board and we left the house. On the way to the car I made the mistake of asking her to push me across the parking lot. Now picture this, I’m standing there on the board, waiting for a push when WHAM, next thing I knew I was laying dazed on the asphalt.

I imagine this was the moment when the laws of force and motion re-entered Kristie’s head after a temporary vacation. Bless her heart.

So, class: When you push a precariously perched object on a mobile platform, it’s important to push from its center of gravity. That action produces an even, balanced, forward momentum. However, when you decide to plant your foot on the base of that mobile platform and push with all your might, the perched object will not move evenly with it’s accelerating base. It will fall. Hard. On it’s tender elbow. Boo hoo.

The best part was that Kristie’s first reaction was uncontrollable laughter…mixed with trace amounts of concern and sympathy. Which was oddly adorable.
